This strap is used to clip onto a bag or camera to either drape around your neck or hang off your shoulder. This strap is made out of Flat Nylon webbing, the end hardware is metal bolt snaps. It also has a plastic slide for adjustment.

Flat nylon webbing is the most popular choice for this strap because it has a "smooth feel" touch to it. When worn around will not cause any kind of discomfort far as "digging" into your neck rough scratchy feeling. Heavyweight or lightweight polypropylene also common because is great for the outdoors. It has excellent UV protection, and doesn't absorb water quickly giving it a high resistance to rot mildew. Patterned polyester webbing combines the best attributes of both nylon and polypropylene webbing.

Strapworks' Bag Straps are available in the following adjustable lengths:

• 1 foot to 2 foot adjustment
• 1 1/2 foot to 3 foot adjustment
• 2 foot to 4 foot adjustment
• 4 foot to 6 foot adjustment

Depending on the weight of the bag or camera, plastic swivel snaps are the most common end hardware. However, if you need stronger hardware, metal swivel snaps are recommended.

Other uses for this strap; binoculars, snare drums, purse, and anything else your creative mind comes up with. You can also add a shoulder pad, and now you have even more comfort for items you wear over your shoulder.

If using these straps for a heavy item, please keep in mind that we recommend only holding 1/3 of what the working load is of the webbing. For example, flat nylon 1" has a breaking strength of 3500lbs. so you don't want anything weighing over 1150lbs. hanging from this strap. Heavyweight polypro has a breaking strength of 900lbs.
