Double D-Ring Strap made with 1-1/2 inch Patterned Polyester Webbing. Patterned Polyester webbing 1-1/2 inch has a breaking strength of 4971 pounds with a thickness of 0.06 of an inch. Metal and Plastic D-Rings are not rated.

Double D-Ring Straps; so simple, yet so functional. Sew 2 D-rings on the end of a length of webbing and you get a strap that has many functions. One of the most common uses are double d-ring belts. Other uses include: tiedown straps for packs, saddle bags, exercise straps for stretching, containment straps, or a general utility strap. These straps are for non-critical applications. Your d-ring options include: metal heavy wire, metal light wire, plastic (black or white), stainless steel, solid brass, or squared corner. Your choice of d-rings depends on your application.

Double D-Ring Straps made with patterned polyester webbing are perfect for heavy loads with high abrasion. Polyester has the best attributes of flat nylon (abrasion resistance) and heavyweight polypropylene (UV protection, water resistance).

Strapworks’ "Patterned Polyester" is polyester that has been sublimated. Sublimation is a process that virtually tattoos the ink into the webbing by turning a solid ink into a permeating gas. This process is done in house and it allows for great detail and vivid custom colorfast colors. Polyester is the only material we carry that is consistent in its ability to be sublimated.

Double D-Ring Strap made with flat nylon webbing is the webbing of choice for high abrasion applications. It is not recommended for use in or around water continuously because it is less water resistant, making it susceptible to mildew and rot.

Double D-Ring Straps made with heavyweight polypropylene webbing are suitable for medium duty applications. However, polypropylene does not have good abrasion resistance, so it is not recommended for use against rough edges.

Double D-Ring Straps  made with lightweight polypropylene webbing are ideally suited for outdoor light duty use. Other than breaking strength and webbing thickness, they have the same attributes as heavyweight polypropylene webbing.
