This is great tie down strap for canoes, kayaks, etc. if you have a car with well defined gutters. With the polypro webbing that doesn't stretch when wet, this is an ideal "over-the-load" strap no matter what the weather. These also work very well as trunk straps. These are good replacement straps for trunk mounted bike racks.

Heavyweight polypro webbing has a 1200 lb breaking strength, so it is plenty strong to hold heavy loads.  Polypropylene webbing is great for outdoor use because it has excellent UV protection.  It also doesn't absorb water quickly causing resistance to rot & mildew.
