This is great tie down strap for canoes, kayaks, etc. if you have a car with well defined gutters. The flat hooks on either end are vinyl coated to help protect your car, plus the vinyl gives a good grip.  These also work very well as trunk straps. The coated flat hooks don't mar your paint job and hold well on the trunk lip. These are good replacement straps for trunk mounted bike racks.

Patterned Polyester webbing has a 4375 lb breaking strength, so it is plenty strong to hold heavy loads.  Nylon is not recommended to use in or around water because it absorbs water quickly, causing rot & mildew.  For more information on our flat hooks send an email to support@strapworks.com.
