Flat hooks are typically used for end hardware on cargo straps, securing straps, and tie downs.
They are available with a round eye or square eye, and uncoated or vinyl coated.  The most common used flat hooks are the round coated because they do not scratch the surface they are connected to (generally the "gutters" on the roof of vehicles).  The monster of the hooks is the 2", that comes uncoated and has a yellow zinc finish.  These beefy flat hooks are common for heavy load straps, especially when they are paired with 2" Polyester 10K webbing. As with all our hardware with or without breaking strengths provided, we highly recommend that you test the product to insure its use in your application is appropriate.
