Strapworks' 1 inch High Tenacity Polypropylene webbing has almost twice the breaking strength of our 1 inch heavyweight polypro (900 lbs.). The thickness of this material is 0.070 of an inch. Its courser weave also grabs stronger in most of our buckles. Our High Tenacity Polypropylene webbing is currently available in an attractive black with a yellow tracer. Just like heavyweight polypropylene, this webbing is perfect for outdoor use. It has excellent UV protection and doesn't absorb water quickly giving it high resistance to rot & mildew.
High Tenacity Polypropylene Facts:
  • Thickness of 0.07 of an inch
  • Breaking strength range of 1750 pounds
  • Melting point of 330 degrees fahrenheit
High tenacity polypropylene webbing is also available in 2 inch width. Also available in high tenacity polypropylene webbing, 3/4 inch High Tenacity Polypropylene Tree tie.

not the good stuff.... February 19, 2016
Reviewer: Steve from Easton, MD United States
I have ordered this several times in the past to make tie downs in conjunction with the stainless cam buckles, and it has always been great...this latest batch is NOT the same webbing.   It is thinner, narrower, looser weave, slippery feel: it is definitely not from the same supplier.  I would return it but it isn't worth paying the money to ship it back.  I am bummed out because in the years past when i ordered it, it was indeed nice stuff.  This latest order is not the same quality and i will not be using it for my tie-downs, it won't hold in the cam buckle properly (which I am comparing with unused webbing of the identical description/order from my last purchase).  Disappointed that it isn't what I have always received, because that stuff was good, this isn't.  Strap works should check the supply chain on this one...
