I make my own saddle pads and use webbing for the trim because its durable. Webbing from fabric stores can run from $2 a yard up and the colors are extremely limited. Strapworks.com was awesome. The webbing was reasonably priced and shipped fast! I paid a third of what I would had I bought the webbing at a fabric store. Strapworks' webbing comes in a ton of fun colors and the quality is fantastic! I'll definately be a repeat customer!

This webbing is quite strong. Unless you have a particularly demanding application, go with lightweight instead of heavyweight.
Be sure to melt the ends when you cut it, though.
