Side Release Buckle Belt made with 3/4 inch Lightweight Polypropylene Webbing. Lightweight polypropylene webbing 3/4 inch has a breaking strength of 450 pounds with a thickness of 0.040 of an inch. Metal and Plastic Side Release Buckles are not rated.

When combined with strapworks' Flat Nylon, Heavyweight, Lightweight Polypropylene, Polyester, or Patterned Polyester webbing, you get a versatile Side Release Buckle Belt that are suitable for a wide range of applications. They are available in the following buckle styles: Black single adjust 3/4 inch, white single adjust 3/4 inch, Black contoured single adjust 3/4 inch, metal/plastic hybrid 3/4 inch, aluminum 3/4 inch.
If used other than belts, keep in mind the characteristics of the different types of webbing.
Side Release Buckle Belts made with lightweight polypropylene webbing are ideally suited for outdoor light duty use. Other than breaking strength and webbing thickness, they have the same attributes as heavyweight polypropylene webbing.
Strapworks’ "Patterned Polyester" is polyester that has been sublimated. Sublimation is a process that virtually tattoos the ink into the webbing by turning a solid ink into a permeating gas. This process is done in house and it allows for great detail and vivid custom colorfast colors. Polyester is the only material we carry that is consistent in its ability to be sublimated.
Side Release Buckle Belts made with polyester webbing has the same attributes and characteristics as patterned polyester. Strapworks' polyester webbing is also sublimated, but is sublimated in solid colors. Polyester has all of the benefits of Flat Nylon, high breaking strength, high abrasion resistance, soft, smooth, and shiny. It also has the benefits of polypropylene, low water absorption, high UV protection, and it is also mildew and rot resistant.
Belt sizes are as follows:
- Regular:.....up to 38 inch waist (48 inches in length)
- Large:........up to 48 inch waist (60 inches in length)
- XLarge:......up to 60 inch waist (72 inches in length)
To shorten, simply cut the end with scissors and melt the end with a lighter.
