Sof-tie Motocycle Cam Strap; This strap is identical to the regular Motorcycle Cam Strap except for the wonderfully built in Softie feature on the cam end of the strap. The Softie feature adds an extra length of webbing, with a sewn in loop on the cam end o f the strap, that allows you to loop webbing over your handle bars or off the frame of your ATV instead of using the S-hooks that could eventually scratch your paint or scuff your handle bars. The softie Motorcycle Cam Strap also contains a 5 inch open loop sewn into the tag end of the strap that allows you to easily cinch down your ATV, motorcycle, or whatever else you can think of using this strap for. A strap is only as strong as its weakest link.
A guide line for finding a safe working load is to take the breaking strength and divide it by one third. For example, Strapworks’ Polyester webbing 1 inch has a breaking strength of 3800 pounds, so a safe working load is 1266 pounds. Your end hardware options include:
vinyl coated s-hooks,
safety s-hooks with clip,
standard oval carabiners, and
locking carabiners. You also need to consider your hardware and stitching. The 1 inch moto cam buckle is included with a rating of 1200 pounds. You also need to calculate your safe working load for your buckles and your stitching. When in doubt, buy 1 strap and test it for your application.

Sof-tie motorcycle cam Straps made with polyester webbing has the same attributes and characteristics as patterned polyester. Strapworks' polyester webbing is also sublimated, but is sublimated in solid colors. Polyester has all of the benefits of Flat Nylon, high breaking strength, high abrasion resistance, soft, smooth, and shiny. It also has the benefits of polypropylene, low water absorption, high UV protection, and it is also mildew and rot resistant.
Sof-tie motorcycle cam Straps made with heavyweight polypropylene webbing are suitable for medium duty outdoor applications. Heavyweight polypropylene webbing has excellent UV protect and does not absorb water quickly giving it better better resistant to mildew and rot resistance. However, polypropylene does not have good abrasion resistance, so it is not recommended for use against rough edges.

*When selecting the powder coating option, there are two things to keep in mind, one powder coating is not an option with stainless steel cam buckles. Two, to achieve a sure grip on powder coated cams; it is imperative that the user puts pressure on the backside of trigger and push it into the webbing. It may move approximately 1 inch before establishing a secure grip on the material.
