If you are using your straps in such a way as they are resting on something sensitive (like a car's paint job), buckle pads can ease the concern you should have about possible abrasion. Although we don't try to convince you to get these as standard equipment, they probably should be standard for roof rack straps, for straps that might rest on unreinforced parts of your raft, and any other sensitive areas. We used to cut slits and slip these pads on. However, we found they have a tendency to migrate. Now they are sewn on. So keep in mind, this is a permanent addition to your strap. You may, of course, request that we cut and slip and that will be done at no additional charge. Do this at: custom@strapworks.com.

Features
Our buckle pads are available in either neoprene rubber or nylon webbing. They are priced the same. We would recommend nylon for very sensitive areas and neoprene for overall durability. The neoprene is available in black, yellow, blue, and gray. The nylon buckle pads are available in any of our Flat Nylon Webbing colors available in your appropriate size. If you want other than black as your buckle pad color, specify the color under "Order Notes" when you check out.
