Our 1/2 inch Kernmantle rope tests out at 6,800 lb test breaking strength. It is UL approved to NFPA specifications. This rope does not float so is not good for throw bags. However, it is still a perfect rescue rope for boaters, safety rope for rescue personnel, etc. In stock color is black. Available for orders of 150' or more-white, red, blue, green, orange, yellow, and lime.
