Not all buckles are made alike, which is why we offer such a diverse selection of metal buckle options at Strapworks. We know that each type of buckle is best for specific applications, which is why we want to help you find the perfect hardware to pair with your webbing. Strapping hardware comes in all shapes and sizes, and the unique features of each design can be a little tricky to figure out. But at Strapworks, we simplify the process by first helping you find the right style of buckle before giving you all of our versatile sizing and color options to customize the final look.

Wondering which type of buckle is right for you? Our military buckles may have an official-sounding name, but trust us when we say that you can use these buckles just as well in civilian life. Metal military buckles feature a flip-top style that helps to secure a strap in place once it's been adjusted. If you're using this type of buckle for a heavy duty application, we suggest our polyester webbing as it's less likely to slip under pressure.

You might recognize our metal airline buckles from your latest flight. These buckles offer a stylish yet secure take on the classic seat belt. It features an aluminum body with a metal tongue that fits inside. Though most commonly seen on planes, they can be used elsewhere for a secure safety belt. Tongue buckles are equally recognizable. This is a hugely popular option for belts, so you might want to get these to add a classy touch to your current accessories.

While we may be best known for our webbing here at Strapworks, we offer lots of other convenient accessories in this category, such as suspender clips, suspender slides, webbing tips and bottle openers. These bottle openers and tab pullers are a great example of a convenient little add-on for strapping that many of our users appreciate, and can be combined with a mini carabiner to create custom key management systems, clip something to your backpack or hang an item on a rack. If a mini carabiner doesn’t provide the stability you want, the mini spring links utilize a tougher steel body in place of aluminum. These little gadgets are ideal for everyday uses where you want a strong connector at a smaller size.

Finally, we have metal bolt plates. These can be anchored like footman loops but the use is a bit different. Bolt plates are more commonly used for seat belts, harness mounting and cargo restraints. The unique design makes it easy to continually tighten the load into place.
