Description Technical Specs

Our 1" cam buckles are the cream of the crop. We have them made especially for us to our high standards. They are perfect for use with our heavyweight polypro webbing as the release is below the frame when loaded, making it impossible to slip in normal use. At 800 lb. test, this buckle is also a perfect match in that our heavyweight polypro is 900 lb. test. On top of all the quality and superior design is a price tag you just can't beat.
For more information on how to use please click on the technical specs tab.

We can also powder coat your metal cam buckles for a small additional charge. You can choose from 19 stock colors. There is no minimum on stock colors. You can also order from over 100 available colors. On custom colors there is a minimum of 150 pieces (you can combine different types of metal hardware to meet this requirement). Please keep in mind that powder coating can delay shipping your order, and that powder coating is only available with metal hardware.
For more information on powder coating and your Cam Buckles, please see the powder coating page. When looking at this page, scroll down to the bottom of the page for important information.
* When selecting the powder coating option, keep in mind to achieve a sure grip on powder coated cams, it is imperitive that the user puts pressure on the backside of trigger and push it into the webbing. It may move approximately 1 inch before establishing a secure grip on the material.

Cam buckles are most often used as an end hardware for straps. They are great tie down straps for the water world sports to secure kayaks, canoes, rafts, boats, jet skis, equipment, etc. The type of webbing you would use for your cam straps would depend on your application. For high abrasion applications you might want to use Flat Nylon or Polyester webbing. Heavyweight Polypropylene would be a better choice for outdoor or around water. For more information on the characteristics and atributes of the different types of webbing, please check out the Webbing Chart Page.

Great Cams....FANTASTIC April 19, 2009
Reviewer: Matt Miller from Fayetteville, NC United States
I have bought these 1" metal cams on at least six different occasions and have never been disappointed. This is a great product that can withstand a lot of abuse. They have a great satin type finish on them and work like a charm. If you are looking for a quality cam these are for you.
