Polyester combines many of the benefits of both polypropylene and flat nylon without some of the negatives. The 2 inch polyester (10K) is perfect for heavy duty ratchet straps. This webbing would also be a good choice for custom utility belts. Polyester (10k) webbing is available in the following colors: Charcoal, Red, Silver-Gray, and Yellow.
10k Polyester webbing facts:
- Thickness of 0.085 to 0.090 of an inch
- Breaking strength of 10,000 pounds
- Melting point of 500 degrees fahrenheit
- 5x time the abrasion resistance as flat nylon webbing
- Low water absorption, mildew and rot resistant
