Worked great for sewing new straps on to my dive bag.  The best price on the internet for a Speedy Stitcher also.  Easy to follow instructions can be found on youtube, so don't be afraid to buy it.

Your video lacked an actual demonstration on how to use the Speedy Stitcher Sewing Awl. People might be more interested in purchasing it if they know how to use it.

I fixed our sofa that had stitching coming off. It worked wonderfully. I am excited just thinking about things I can fix with this.

Wonderful! September 26, 2013
Reviewer: D.B. from United States
Just got mine and tried both the curved and straight needle- both work great for getting through several layers of very thick ultra-interfaced fabric (including where straps attach so there is double the already thick regular thickness).  It's not effortless, but definitely beats needle and thread. Just one note- it would be helpful if the item description showed or told people where to find the needles! I was about to call Strapworks and say that mine had come without the needles! (You have to screw off the top part and there are storage slots/holes for them in there.  Good design, but if you don't know they're there.... )

Amazing! April 25, 2012
Reviewer: Johnny from Joshua, TX United States
The Speedy Stitcher is absolutely one of the best tools I have ever used for anything! To put it simply, it does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it perfectly, every time. As if that wasn't enough, it's fast and easy to use. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. I'm working on a project that involves stitching cotton webbing by hand. With the Speedy Stitcher, I was able to stitch together 3 layers of webbing and 2 layers of heavy cotton canvas easily.
