This new monster was originally brought into our stock for use on an amusement park ride. It has been used since then on a variety of custom products including custom scuba gear.

This two-piece, virtually all-plastic side release buckle offers superior strength and was originally designed for UL Type 1 Life Jackets. Accommodates 1-1/2" webbing and features one big red buttoned single finger release. Contains a 0.125g stainless steel spring, though while not 100% plastic it certainly should be airport safe.

I bought this to use on the hip belt that I use for walking my dogs. The side release buckle that came with the belt kept popping open when one of my dogs lunged forward. I have two sled dogs and provide foster care for a rescue organization, always one and often two foster dogs are in our yard. So, I have at least three and often four (strong 60-80 lb) sled dogs attached to my waist when we go for our walks and this buckle has been 100% reliable ! !
