I use these for my wholesale dog collar business, and my dog frequently tests these D-rings in the ocean, as we live on the beach. I have had NO problems with them as the previous cutomer stated. I have ordered nickel-plated D-rings in the past and they just don't hold up in the salt water like the stainless ones do.

I love strapworks, they have almost everything I need right on one site! I am beginning a dog collar business, and have decided I want only the BEST hardware for my collars, so when I purchased the first of my materials, I ordered all Stainless Steel Hardware. One trip in the water, and the "stainless steel" D-Rings I ordered from Strapworks have rusted! I am very upset with this, and will be calling the company. The D-Rings are heavy, so I know there could not have been a mix up on orders, if they were their metal/nickel plated, they would not be this heavy.
However, the man that I spoke with through customer service was VERY nice and understanding, as was the manager, which I appreciate greatly!
RESPONSE: Customer sent these rings in to us to check, only to find that it was dirt in the gap where the ring was welded. After a good brushing it was back to new. None of our Stainless Steel hardware rusts, but if a customer ever has any issue we are happy to help at Support@strapworks.com
