I was so happy that the big spools are now for sale. Works wonderfully well on my commercial machine.

too fine, it frays and breaks, loops come off the spool and tangle wasting more than I use. have tried it on three projects, it's such a pain to work with. now i have way too much of it.
Response:We agree that for some customers a 1 Pound spool of thread can be too much and can be too big for their home machine. We listened to all customer feedback and now provide Thread Spools in a much smaller 4oz version at http://www.strapworks.com/Thread_p/t4oz.htm. This works great for smaller home machines and is typically the amount used for at home projects. Thanks for the feedback.

This is a comment on the last review. Another source on the internet that I have consulted said that the largest thread that can be used in a home machine is 69. Even this size hasn't worked all that well for me. I use 46 polyester on my home machine. But in my industrial machine, the larger sizes of thread work well.
